The NovaStar MRV300 is a classic, early-generation standard receiving card. It is one of the baseline modules from the NovaStar M3 series that requires an external HUB board (unlike modern cards like the MRV336 or MRV412 which feature built-in HUB75 ports) to distribute data to the LED modules. It remains a widely recognized component used in older legacy cabinets across India
The MRV300 handles standard video decoding inside an LED display cabinet. Because it contains high-density 50-pin interface male/female headers instead of integrated HUB75 sockets, engineers clip a specific adapter card (like a HUB75 or HUB320 board) on top to match the ribbon cable pinout of the modules. It supports automatic configuration readback, status detection, and standalone backup images
